The specified conception is based on the latest electro-acoustical concepts and theoretical ba-sics, including the new V-shaped horn loaded technology. The MIDO 212 shall be an active, 3-way loudspeaker containing two direct radi-ating, bass reflex-loaded 12-inch woofers mounted in the front aclinic plate, to-gether with four 6.5-inch midrange frequency transducers symmetrical mounted evenly on two side of V-shaped horn, dual 1'' exit, titanium diaphragm, compres-sion drivers coupled to a waveguide. As a full range system, the frequency re-sponse shall be 55 Hz to 18 kHz with less than ?3 dB variation and the usable bandwidth shall be 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The enclosure shall have a trapezoidal shape. Cabinet construction shall con-sist of 18 mm birch plywood with aluminum plates at interior front and rear. The front of the enclosure shall be protected by a black epoxy-coated, 1.5 mm thick steel grille that is covered with 5 mm thick acoustically-transparent open cell foam. Loudspeaker enclosures shall be installed using a dedicated rigging bumper and accessories. The enclosure shall have an integral rigging system that allows ar-rays to be assembled with variable angles between enclosures up to a maximum of 10 degrees. The MIDO 212 is an articulating active three line array element designed for use in touring, stadia, gymnasia, theatres, churches and multi-purpose halls etc. And this being intended for medium to large scale venues.
