I do not need any help with the software. What I want is to have a wireless connection on my phone (supported by internet) to electronic devices at my home, such as; lamps, coffee machines, TVs etc, so that I can turn them ON and OFF even if I am 5 miles away from home. My solution is that you create a box, which has a wireless connection to a device that you plug in the wall-socket which you plug the lamp in (for example). The remote (a cellphone) will have a wireless connection to the box, which will pass the signals on to the devices in the wall-socket which will turn ON and OFF the electricity. - remember, this is a solution that may not be the best one.
