Motion detection is signaled through the push-pull REL / LEDoutput. A digital input OEN enables REL output. A LED output indicates whenever the PIRSignal is above the selected threshold. The PS206 interfaces directly to a PIR sensor viaa highimpedance differential input. The PS206 interfaces directly to up to twoconventional PIR sensors via a highimpedance differential input. The PIR signal isconverted to a 15 bit digital value on chip. The parameters for sensitivity and timing areset by connecting the corresponding inputs to DC voltages. The voltage levels on theinputs are converted to digital values with 7 bitresolution. All signal processing isperformed digitally.
