The product consists of a film backwith a TFT or LED screen with all digital controls, and video, USBand MicroSD memory access. On the inside, a PC board contains the image sensor and shutter movement sensors, buffers, ICs, and processors similar to the DIGIC series. This is a standard item for each image sensor size. There is a custom PC/sensor board mount for each model of camera to be converted. This mount will hold the battery in the area that held the film, or, a custom batteryholder for the film cannister area (shaped like a film cannister?) that makes electrical contact with the mount. The mount receives information through standardized contacts with the PC board, making the product upgradeable. From the backside of the custom mount board, a standardized plug perforates the camera back (door) and connects to the control and display screen module. As ISO (and optional ISO Expansion) is set to match the camera setting, the camera is operated in a completely normal manner. There is NO learning curve! Replacement of lenses is unnecessary, saving a great deal of money. It can be marketed as GREEN, because older quality cameras are re-used.
