Alternatively an element to similar specifications already being manufactured which could be modified may beacceptable. Detailed drawings in the AutoCad format can be provided or as graphics and/or text and a sample element. An initial order of about a hundred units is envisaged but this is negotiable. Although the photo shows aflanged fully enclosed element a"U" tube element is also acceptable. I realise that because of the low melting of aluminium this may not be possible unless the length of the elementis extended. The approx. dimensions of the existing aluminium enclosed part of the element excluding the flange are as follows.Overall length 183mmTop of element is an oval section 41mm overall and the ends rounded to a radius of 9.2mmBottom is also oval section tapered down from the top section34mm overall, ends rounded to a radius of 5.7mm The dimensions of the existing electricical element areStainless steel? Casing radius 3.2mm, (6.4mm Dia.)Nichrome radius 1.2mm(2.4mm Dia.)Distance between centres 22.6mmAs the element is enclosed it is not possible to determine to overall length.The theoretical overall length of the element could be up to +- 400mm (Depth of cylinder)The maximum temperature of the water in the cylinder will bethematically controlled to +- 70 degrees Centigradeand an over temperature thermostat with manual reset set at 85 degrees Centigrade. These sensors are external and not part of this element.Water Cylinder Volume = 9 litresTypically some waterat 55 degrees to 60 degrees is available after 30 minutes of switching on is available using the existing element.
