The estimated total yearly qty required are 25,000 each although this qty is only used to give estimates based on past experience and may increase or decrease. We will only be dealing with reputable suppliers and will be visiting the factory of the succesful supplier(s) for an inspection. The supplier must be ISO 9001 certified as well as having certification on the actual lanterns. Please note that the specifications indicated are minimum and bidders are encouraged to offer more advanced products or alternative soolutions which may be suitable to the end user's needs. Minimum Order QTY, PKG specifications in both bulk and palletized must be supplied. The minimum requirements are as follows: Solar panel shall be min. 1,5W 9V PV capacity Rechargeable battery, min. 6 V with life span of min. 500 cycles The light shall be white Light-Emitting Diode (W-LED) with min. life of 50,000 hours Light output: Min. 10 Lux @ full charge Light hours: Min. 8 hours after being exposed to direct sunlight for 8 hours Direction of light shall be 360 degrees Light color shall be white, max. color temperature 8,000 Kelvin Solar lanterns shall resist tropical weather conditions (high humidity, extreme temperature changes, dust, etc.) Optionally, provision for mobile phone charger is an advantage Option for electrical charging is recommended (Electrical Charger shall be 2 round-pin DC with input: 100-240 V AC - 50/60 Hz) Solar Lanterns should be fully portable, product weight must not exceed 6 kg per unit Warranty - min 1 year for any manufacturing defects Test certification is required from an internationally recognized organization 4 Samples to be submitted together with product leaflet/instruction manual in English.
