The enclosure shall be study and shall permit easy removal of any part of the motor for inspection and repairsThe yoke shall be of good quality steel plate with such cross sectional area that the communication shall be un-affected due to magnetic saturation caused by peak loads Armature shall be built up with the best quality steel stampings of high permeability and low iron loss with special attention paid to ventilation through the core. Armature should be carefully balanced to ensure smooth running and should be set in such a way as to prevent any tendency to end thrust.
