Seller issues signed and stamped draft Contract + draft LC copy. 5. Buyer approves and returns signed and stamped draft contract + draft LC copy 6. Final contract is signed and exchanged via fax or e-mail and/or hard copies. 7. Buyer and seller banks confirm their readiness to issue LC and PB respectively. 8. Buyer's bank issues non-operative LC. (OR Seller issues Non-operative 2% PB) 9. Seller's bank issues operative 2% PB to activate the LC. (OR Buyer bank issues Operative LC to activate the PB) 10.
