We would be interested in substation and transmission line clamps, connectors and hardware, particularly for 400kV and 765kV voltage grades.We would like to give you an introduction to the Indian market and start working with you.To mention about the present power scenario in India, 87000 MW of additional generation is expected to be added in the next 5 years. In order to transport bulk energy, Indian Electricity Regulator has upgraded transmission voltage to 765kV. Consequently we expect a boom in Substation and Transmission business. Several thousands of kilometers of 400kV and 765kV lines and corresponding quantity of substations will be constructed.It will be prudent for both of our companies to unite in this scenario to contribute quality connectors to the system, for a mutual benefit. At present we do not have specific enquiry for these connectors and it is not our intention to get quotes from you for a particular enquiry, but it is our vision to start promoting your products with the potential customers and be one of those early players.To do so, we need your complete cooperation. Rather than a manufacturer – dealer relationship, we need to work as a team to strongly establish our products. We are a financially strong company and can market your products, but we need an initial thrust and continuous support from you. Exclusively, we will market your products throughout the country. From your side, you will have to send us your product samples, catalogues and test certificates. For formal approvals, we require certain documents that you need to send us. There is a Government owned testing laboratory named Central Power Research Laboratory (CPRI) in India. Any new product to be introduced in the electrical system has to be essentially tested and certified by CPRI. You will have to send your samples for testing and get them certified by CPRI. We will do all the coordination for this and you will have to bear the testing charges.
